Character profile | Hikari, played by Hanna
Hikari. means ‘light’ in Japanese. She has a small cat beast familiar which she found in the desert region and is a bright but nervous character.
Homeland: She lives in the remote desert village ‘Lestau’ on the outskirts of the Materia Kingdom. The desert is home to runaway Familiars, desert creatures, outcasts, outlaws and people who want to get away from populated areas of Materia.
Backstory: Hikari lived with Kurai, her sister, her mother and magician father. Her village was invaded by Orcs when she was eight, when her mother and father were killed in front of her and her sister. Kurai was taken by the Orcs but luckily Hikari escaped through a hidden exit from the back of the house. She ran off to a nearby town where she discovered she had inherited some of her fathers magic abilities. She was then found by a half demon women who helped her to use her magic correctly, and in return Hikari had to care for a lost cat familiar. 10 years later she searches for the Orcs hide out to find her sister.
Hanna on LARPing and Hikari: Its a way of becoming someone else, good exercise and is insanely fun. Its a great way to keep the mind actively creative with stories and ideas. Also its great fun being able to be apart of a group of people with their own characters
